The social perception of environmental victimization. A visual and sensory methodological proposal

Abstract This article proposes a visual and sensory methodology useful to the study of environmental victimization from perspective people exposed harm crime. Given scarcity tools with which approach these dynamic elusive phenomena, I focus first on methodological theoretical positioning that sees encounter between green, cultural, visual, narrative critical criminologies. Second, discuss photo elicitation, technique for green criminology “with” images, where images are used as heuristic tool in order explore more thoroughly social perception victimization.
